:: Pre-Encounter and Encounter Weekends::
 Encounter at the Cross Retreat
An Encounter Retreat is a weekend designed for you to have an encounter with God. It is an excellent weekend for those who are struggling with various issues in their life, but appropriate for anyone who is wanting to get closer to God.. During the Encounter you will receive Bible based teachings centered on what was accomplished for you because of Jesus dying on the cross and being resurrected. You will have time to reflect and evaluate your relationship with Jesus without having any distraction, while finding purpose and destiny for your future. Some of the topics covered during the Encounter are:
- Prodigal Son Story
- Face to Face-Wrestling with God
- The Cross-What Jesus did for you
- Godly Sexuality
- Inner Healing/Forgiveness
- Breaking Generational Curses
- Closing Open Doors
- Baptism of the Holy Spirit
All are welcomed to participate in an Encounter Weekend (even if you have participated in the past). In order to participate in the School of Leaders Discipleship program, and to be on the leadership team of VLC, a person must attend an Encounter Weekend and start the School of Leaders.
Suggested Donation to cover cost of course materials: $12 a person. Meals are an additional $8-you may bring your own meals.

Pre-Encounter
In order to participate in the Encounter Weekend you must attend the Pre-Encounter classes. Topics covered in the Pre-Encounter are Salvation, Water Baptism, Communion with God, Baptism of the Holy Spirit, Encountering God, Preparing for an Encounter.
Next Pre-Encounter
Sunday-July 11, and 18 at 9:00am.
If you were not able to attend the Pre-Encounter because you live outside the Seattle area, don't worry, just fill out the registration form and you will still be able to attend the Encounter Weekend.
